Growing up in Sweden, Marrika was fascinated with two things since the age of 8, western movies and Rock and Roll. She remembers wanting to "grow up fast" so she could dress just like the saloon girls. Luckily, her parents were very creative and understanding. And 13 years later when she visited USA and Santa Fe, New Mexico for the first time, she knew she wanted to live there one day. Her dream came true...

For the past 25 years her company has worked closely with hundreds of exclusive boutiques nation wide and internationally. Her designs as well as her “one of a kind creations” are frequently seen and worn by the Hollywood elite to red carpet events such as the Grammy’s, the Golden Globe’s, The Country and Music Awards and the Oscar’s.

Marrika continuously reinvents herself and takes her lines in new directions. In 2002 she introduced “Marrika Nakk Cowgirls” to her collections. This romantic and unique western wear look is enjoyed by cowgirls all over the world.

In 2006 she added “Ranch Weddings” to her bridal line.
